My goal in life is not just how many patients I can see or how much money I can make, I want to prove that there are still good orthodontists out there who truly care about other people and their dental needs.
Before starting my own practice, I worked at traditionally busy practices and was disappointed in how patients were treated as mere numbers. I completely disliked being part of this corporate medicine world that focused on numbers and not compassion towards patients.
I created Coral Orthodontics to make a big change for myself and for those seeing personalized orthodontics treatment.
When I meet a future patient for the first time, I take my time to explain to them their bite problems and possible causes of their malocclusion, and I show similar before and after cases. I also use this time to present options available with pros and cons of each treatment, giving future patients an honest and realistic solution for their particular problem.
Our goal and motivation lies in making patients happy. Every day at Coral Orthodontics, I strive to change people's perceptions of dentists and orthodontists by making a good example of how an orthodontist should be.

Dr. Prathima Adusumilli attended College of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University with 100% paid scholarship and received her DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) in 2008.
During her DMD program she was also research assistant and attended summer externship at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, MA.
Later, she earned Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and Masters in Craniofacial Biology at Nova Southeastern University.
